Above is the result of the "Dundonian" language section of the website that made the front page of the local paper "The Evening Telegraph" and also an article in "The Courier" too. You get a pic of me on the front page (sorry if that put you off your tea ) which is a good wee bit of advertising.

Hi folks,

This Dundee decorator's family are happy! I've started decorating our own house. Not much of a break from work but it means a more peaceful home-life

The website www.paul-walker-decorators.co.uk is getting a few hits now and I've had a few jobs from it. Hopefully soon we'll be climbing the "Google" pages. There's some new content going on it soon. You can have the default language of the page in traditional English and also... "Dundonian".

For any of you who don't know, Dundonian (or "broad Dundee") is kinda the way "The Broons" and "Oor Wullie" speak If you don't know who they are then here's a link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Broons

It may be a bit gimmicky but it's harmless fun.. and we can maybe pimp this out to the local press and see if we get a bit of free advertising.

A net and house update to come soon!

So I've still not started decorating my own house yet. I'm sure my wife and kids will lock me in one day until I get a move on!

We're still picking up work but I keep forgetting to take pics.... too busy!

I've started advertising on www.gumtree.com in the Dundee section to try and pick up more links and work to my painting and decorating website. I'm also trying to get a "comments" page up on the website so any visitors can easily fire off an email to me. Hopefully my google search status will rise a bit :S (currently page 7 when you google "Dundee Decorators").

Ok.. back to work....
